Recent Events and Actions Taken

  • March 11, 2017 - Arson fire caused an estimated $1.5 million in damage to the building, $450,000 in lost possessions, and displaced 90 residents. No residents were harmed, but three firefighters were treated for injuries. Buffalo News
  • March 13, 2017 - Jonathan Jimenez was 'arrested on charges of arson in the second degree, burglary, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal contempt for violating an order of protection. A City Court judge had issued an order of protection in April 2016 saying Jimenez could not be on the property.' Buffalo News
  • March 2018 - Work can be seen to shore up the roof and parapet
