  • A "For Lease" sign in window from a September 2012 photo indicates Ellicott Development, Carl Paladino's company, owns the property. The same corporate entity owns all parcels from Gold to Davey in that block front except for the city-owned building at the southwest corner of Lovejoy and Gold. Five of these properties were demolished between 2012 and 2014.

  • January 2, 2014 - Preservation Board received application for demolition
    • "DEMOLITION - requesting demolition because owner feels the building is in a dilapidated state, vandalism, building has become a detriment to the neighborhood and surrounding businesses. There will be future plans for development of this property. Application received 12/6/2013. (David Hall to appear @ 1/2/2014 03:00 PM 901 City Hall)"
    • "TABLED :ELLICOTT DEVELOPMENT WILL MEET WITH THE COMMUNITY AND BOARD MEMBERS WILL DO A SITE VISIT. THE CLOCK DOES NOT START TICKING ON THIS APPLICATION UNTIL 1/16/2014."
  • January 30, 2014: "FAILED MOTION FOR DENIAL: DUE TO A LACK OF QUORUM - THIS PROJECT WILL BE PLACED ON THE NEXT AGENDA FOR THE BOARD TO VOTE - APPLICANT NEED NOT BE PRESENT."
