Recent Events and Actions Taken

  • June 2014 - Polonia Holdings purchased the building for use as a distillery producing rye-based vodka, and later, whiskey. They plan to invest more than $100,000 in start-up costs.
    • "We’re doing this to help the neighborhood,” Ray Kasprzyk said. “We’re bring an old building back to life and, at the same time, we are creating a brand name for Buffalo" Buffalo Business First
  • September 2021: Business First reports that "Investors 205 Lombard LLC acquired the vacant, former site of Buffalo Distilling Co. for $27,500 for the two-story, 5,700-square-foot building at 199-205 Lombard St., according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office. The building had been owned by Polonia Holding LLC. Plans include a distillery, retail, or restaurant." (via John Straubinger)
