Renovated, with additions made to the sides and rear. Original facade has been retained, although it is still missing a bit of marble as of the restaurant's Feb '14 opening

History

The building was originally a movie film vault. When the facade was removed, a "Universal Inter(national)" sign was revealed. Later tenants included ADT security.

Recent Events and Actions Taken

  • October 2013 - Dinosaur Barbecue reports they will retain the Universal International signage.
  • Sept 2013 - Scheduled open date is moved to Jan 2014.
  • Feb 2013 - Utility service to the building has been upgraded. Renovation work scheduled to start in spring. Dino BBQ is scheduled to open in October.
  • February 12, 2014 - Dino BBQ opens
