- September 9, 2014 - Common Council Community Development Committee to discuss Ellicott Development proposal for purchase. Per Buffalo Rising, the process for proposal review may not have been made public until another interested developer found out that a meeting was already scheduled.
- 2014 - Ellicott won the ownership rights to the building following an RFP process Buffalo issued.
- July 2015 - Ellicott Development is seeking approval for a $5.5 million joint venture with Sinatra & Co. to renovate the vacant former School into 33 market-rate apartments and some limited office space. Silvestri Architects has been retained for the project. Business First
