  • 1937 - Construction of the school completed as a project of the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works

Recent Events and Actions Taken

  • 2003 - Kensington High School is closed
  • 2004 - Building is used as one of the locations for Buffalo's Opportunity Program, an alternative school service for suspended students
  • 2005-2007 - Temporary home of Hutch Tech High School while it was being renovated
  • 2005 - Frederick Law Olmstead school founded
  • 2010-2012 - Building undergoes renovation
  • 2012 - Building re-opens for Olmstead High students
