3. Trico Plant (791 W ashington St. AKA 817 Washington St.) INFORMATIONAL
A public Hearing will conducted by the Buffalo Preservation Board in Room 901
City Hall on Thursday March 21, 2013 @ 3:00pm. The purpose of the meeting
is to review the application for the Trico Plant #1 for landmark consideration.

4. 141 Elm St. INFORMATIONAL
This property will be considered by the State Review Board at its next meeting
on March 21, 2013, for nomination to the National and State Registers of
Historic Places.

5. Buffalo Zoo Entrance Courts INFORMATIONAL
This property will be considered by the State Review Board at its next meeting
on March 21, 2013, for nomination to the National and State Registers of
Historic Places.

6. 265 - 267 Pearl St. INFORMATIONAL
This property will be considered by the State Review Board at its next meeting
on March 21, 2013, for nomination to the National and State Registers of
Historic Places.

7. Hamlin Park Historic District INFORMATIONAL
This property will be considered by the State Review Board at its next meeting
on March 21, 2013, for nomination to the National and State Registers of
Historic Places.

D. Certificate Activity - Board Action Required
8. 10 Symphony Circle ____________
Applicant is requesting a ground sign on the North Street side of the building, a
wall-mounted sign adjacent to the entrance on the W adsworth Street side of the
building, and a canopy over this entrance. Application received 2/27/2013.

9. 455 Delaware Ave. ____________
Approximately 400sf addition to existing building to allow for a new tenant
(Quest Diagnostics). The addition will incorporate existing fixtures to match in-

Project includes replacement of awnings, and windows on the ground and

Proposing three new exterior windows for the North façade facing the adjacent
parking lot. Each opening is 8'-wide x 8'-4" high. Application received 2/28/2013.

12. 801 Main St.
Replacement of the existing curtain wall system with a aluminum curtain wall
system by Old Castle; the frame sections are 6" x 2 1/2" with 1" extensions on
the main vertical mullions, sill and head members only. Secondary vertical and
horizontal frame sections will have the typical 1/2" cover. Application received
2/28/2013.

LATE FILE: Repair 2 unit faces using Conproco Mimic Repair Mortar; custom
color, contours and texture to match existing. Patch areas will be reinforced
with stainless steel pins and epoxy anchors. Application received 3/6/2013.

Remove deteriorated roofing materials from structure; Install #15,felt, ice &
water shield, metal edging, flashings & ridge vents, where required; Re-roof
with Rustic Black 30 year architectural style asphalt shingles; Replace any
deteriorated fascia boards where necessary.

15. Linwood Preservation District
TABLED - UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: PBN needs financing to extend the
district to Delavan. TABLED: Board members are seeking assistance for
someone to help put the nomination package together:(Hearing for 7/26/12 was
postponed). [In order to protect the buildings along Main Street(1524 & 1526)
and West Ferry (925,936, & 945) the Linwood Preservation District would need
to be extended to include these addresses].

16. 143 Allen St.
TABLED for 2 wks. until the Board can obtain additional info. regarding zoning
in this district and history of the sign. Attach a historic style sign to an existing
metal post. Application received 2/14/2013.

DEMOLITION: A demolition is requested due to extremely dangerous

conditions, water damages, broken windows and doors. Application received
2/27/2013.

conditions due to fire, outer walls are collapsing, water damages, roof collapse
