Current Condition

Demolished. Has been an empty plaza since 1967.

History

  • pre-1875 - The J.F. Haven building, designed by M.E. Beebe & Son, is constructed in the SW corner of Main and Seneca
  • 1880 - Marine Bank moves into a narrow pre-existing building at 220 Main
  • 1896 - Marine Bank acquired the J.F. Haven building next door to 220 Main
  • 1901 - Both 220 Main and the J.F. Haven Building were re-styled to form one larger building
  • 1967 - Building demolished for an empty concrete plaza
