History
- Early 1900s - St. Thomas Aquinas School was built
- 1950s - An addition was added on

- 2006 - The school closed and was briefly leased to the Boys & Girls Club of Buffalo.
- 2007-2014 - It has been vacant (while the church remains open).
- 2014 - Architect/developer Karl Frizlen has the school under contract with the Diocese of Buffalo, pending his renovation project receiving municipal approvals
- December 2014 - Frizlen proposes a $5 million renovation plan to convert the school into 32 market rate apartments.
- He has applied for historic tax credits
- Due to historic tax credit requirements, the gym may be renovated into a work out center rather than apartments.
- December 16, 2014 - Buffalo Planning Board scheduled to review renovation plan
- December 17, 2014 - Zoning Board of Appeals follows up with its own review. The Buffalo Common Council then must also sign off on the project, which could begin in the first quarter of 2015 and be done within a year.
