- Owner Ellicott Development is applying to the City for permission to demolish this house and the adjacent 619 West Delavan.
- William Paladino, CEO of Ellicott Development, stated on July 5 2018 that his company intends to build a residential building at this location.
- Speculation is that the intended use for the two parcels is as parking for 905 Elmwood Avenue.
- The Buffalo Preservation Board will hold a public hearing on this application on Thursday July 12, 2018, 3pm in Room 901 of Buffalo City Hall.
- January 26, 2019: Asbestos remediation notices have been posted in both buildings.

- These two houses are contributing resources to the Elmwood East National Register Historic District (Large File, 28MB PDF). They're not individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All of the Elmwood Village is on the National Register, which provides no protection from demolition (unless the project is using state or federal funds, or is state or federally licensed).
