History
- The school opened in 1907
- The current building was constructed in 1925
Recent Events and Actions Taken
- 2006 - Seneca High stopped admitting new students but remained open for graduating classes. The school reopened as the Math Science and Tech Prep at Seneca.
- 2010-2012 - The Seneca building was renovated by LPCiminelli.
- 2012 - With renovations completed, it currently serves home to The Math, Science, and Technology Preparatory School at Seneca.
Other Pertinent Facts
- Known as Seneca Vocational High School, Seneca Comprehensive High School, or Seneca High School
- The oldest vocational high school in Buffalo, and it was constructed three months after the first vocational school in the state of New York was completed
