History

Recent Events and Actions Taken

Eight houses are planned for demolition to allow the Public Bridge Authority to expand their plaza,currently across Busti Avenue to the west. Demolition contract awarded. Halted by lawsuit, no current demolition activity (January 2013). The Episcopal Church Home is also rumored to be a site for demolition/new construction. It's vacant and in a state of continuing decay and is not secure.
