History

  • PRS was informed via email: "It is an Albert Kahn building that was built by Ford Motor Company, completed construction in 1927. Was owned by Bell Aircraft as a research facility in the 1930s and 1940s, then changed ownership many times, most recently known as Ken-Ton fabricators. Building was severely water damaged due to neglect by owner, deferred maintenance and issues with National Grid improperly servicing of electrical service to the building (pump failure because of no power) mixed with Modern Recycling Truck from loading dock next door running over water lines causing a break that caused a flood inside. Plus the roof falling in on a corner of the building. Required significant investment to save and will require much more to turn into a functioning space again."
