Physical Description
- Three-story brick Art Deco school building. A recent addition, that doesn't match with the rest of building, was added to the front in 2009 as part of a renovation.
Current Condition
- Renovated 2009, in use as a school.
History
- The school was founded in 1910.
- In the 1920's, a $1,000,000 construction project began for a school on land being donated by Henry P. Burgard.
- Built from 1929 to 1930 and designed in an Art Deco style with Collegiate Gothic elements by Ernest Crimi.
- Current building built in 1929
Recent Events and Actions Taken
- 2009 - Renovation of the school, along with an office and lab expansion.
- Designated a local landmark on November 13, 2018.
