- 2009 - Demolished as part of an announced boutique hotel project, which was said to need to space for a new build. It remains an empty pit in 2013.
- November 2013 - "The ballroom addition once planned for the former Continental site adjacent to the Curtiss has been dropped..." Instead, plans call for just surface parking, despite the area being surrounded by parking ramps and lots.
