History

  • Pre-1935 - A hub of commercial activity surrounding the bustling rail lines across the street and industrial buildings near by
  • Late 1950s-1960s - Entire block demolished, along with hundreds of other nearby brick buildings, as part of a failed urban renewal scheme that left the area decimated and mostly unused to this day.
