Physical Description
Two story commercial building, with brick and white terra-cotta facade and copper bays.
Current Condition
Facade has been heavily modified/covered, and the building appears unused and abandoned. Per a Historic Resources Survey, the facade "was largely effaced when the former bakery was joined to a nondescript, late twentieth century building to the west."
History
- Built 1914. Architect Wladyslaw H. Zawadzki
- Built as a bakery, store, and dwelling for Wladyslaw Niebieszczanski.
Recent Events and Actions Taken
- Housing Court hearing to determine whether to demolish the building, December 14th, morning session (9:30am), Judge Carney's courtroom, #14, 6th floor of the City Court Building, 50 Delaware Avenue.
- March 14, 2019: Being DEMOLISHED.
